What I’ll Do to Get You Tax-Ready

Here’s the simple process we’ll follow to clean, organize, and prepare your books for tax time.

  • Once we’ve decided to work together, we’ll schedule a 60 to 90-minute Zoom. At that time, I’ll ask you questions about your business and get all the information I need to start.

    We’ll talk about software options. If you aren’t using software, we can use Wave Accounting. A free version may work, but at most, the cost is $12 a month, and it’s great software. I’ve used it for years. I can share more on our call. If you use QuickBooks, I’m a certified Quickbooks Online Advisor and know it very well.

    On our Zoom chat, we’ll review all the items and information you need to gather before our 60 to 90-minute Zoom.

    I aim to make it as easy and “painless” for you as possible if you’re like most entrepreneurs; bookkeeping is the last thing you want to do.

  • I will review all of your transactions for 2023 or through the current date, whichever is your preference.

    The transactions include your bank accounts, credit card accounts, loans, invoices, payments, etc.

    I will code these to the proper income, expense, or other account so that your financial reports are updated.

  • I will review and reconcile all your bank statements to ensure everything is accounted for.

  • I want to maximize your deductions so you pay less tax, so I will capture any business expenses you may have paid with personal bank or credit card accounts.

  • I want you to be tax-ready and have updated financial reports, so I will review your Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statement with you to ensure we have everything accounted for so you are ready for your tax returns.

  • Once I’m done, I will give you information on any suggestions I have for easier ways to do things, areas you may want to improve in, and other helpful tips. I love making things simpler and more accessible for people.

  • You’ll receive clean, organized financial reports that are ready for your tax professional and a clear list of exactly what to save for your records going forward.
